i am back! yeah!! and to officially make my return known... check the timestamp. yeah, that's right, another quality Meghan late-night/early-morning post!
let's see. my classes are good. new CORE teacher isn't as in-fucking-sane as the last one. for her class, we just read the most amazing book. i highly recommend it- The Tortilla Curtain by T. C. Boyle. kind of a downer, but still good. My apologies, I would include a link to a synopsis of the book, but I'm just not as cool as Madge.
I do, however, have a nifty little present that I bought to celebrate being back in town... the Monty Python's Flying Circus 16-Ton Mega-Set!! it has every episode ever aired, plus two discs with live sketches. mmm.... a group of us watched Episode 1 last night. it was incredible. As was the luck of having $160 in Borders giftcards... and the Set being $20 off... because i was not spending the original asking cost of $200 out of pocket for such beauty. out of other people's pockets, however... i only had to fork over $20. it was nice.
as for the rest of life here... it is well. my computer is about to die from low battery, however (left the power cable back home; it's being shipped here as i type), so i must cut myself off. adieu, and happy day!
